St. Joseph took a six-run defeat the last time they faced off against Bridgewater-Raritan, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Falcons sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 5-4 win over the Panthers on Wednesday. The victory was familiar territory for the Falcons, who have now won three matches in a row.

St. Joseph's win bumped their record up to 9-6. As for Bridgewater-Raritan, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 6-12.

St. Joseph wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 2-0 victory against South Plainfield on the 7th. As for Bridgewater-Raritan, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 6-4 defeat against Scotch Plains-Fanwood on the 7th.
