Columbine had already won five in a row dating back to last season and they went ahead and made it six on Friday. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the American Heritage Patriots.

Columbine found their leader in freshman Allison Kunkel, who had five digs and four aces.

Columbine's win bumped their record up to 5-0. As for American Heritage, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-4 record this season.

Columbine will venture away from home to challenge ThunderRidge at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for American Heritage, they are on the road again on Friday to play Brook Hill at 11:30 a.m.
