Softball Recap: Three Forks Wolves vs. Ennis Mustangs
Three Forks was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They fell 16-12 to the Ennis Mustangs.
Nova Ervin was huge no matter where she played even without the win. She tossed 3.1 innings while giving up just one earned (and four unearned) runs off two hits. Ervin was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run while going 2-for-4.
In other batting news, Kameryn Rios and Sierra Lindquist did some serious damage despite the final result: Rios scored a run while going 3-for-5, while Lindquist went 1-for-4 with one home run and three RBI.
Three Forks' defeat dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Ennis, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-1.
Coincidentally, Three Forks and Ennis will both be playing Manhattan the next time they take the field. The Mustangs will host the Tigers on Thursday, while the Wolves will head out to face them at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
