Baseball Recap: Barnsdall's Win on Friday Extends Winning Streak to Eight

Barnsdall waltzed into their matchup on Friday with seven straight wins... but they left with eight. They blew past Regent Prep 16-2. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 11-5 on March 6th.

Barnsdall pushed their record up to 13-1 with the win, which was their tenth straight at home. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.0 runs over those games. As for Regent Prep, the defeat snapped their winning streak at four games and leaves them with a 7-3 record.

Barnsdall didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 5-2 loss against Memorial on the 28th. Regent Prep has also already played their next contest (against Liberty), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
