Alleman barely beat Mercer County the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Pioneers blew past the Golden Eagles 15-8 on Tuesday. Winning may never get old, but the Pioneers sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.
 Kelly Honert looked comfortable as he  didn't allow a single  earned run and  allowed only  one  hit over four innings pitched. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't  given up  more than two  walks in eight consecutive appearances.
 At the plate,  Will Bowers was  incredible,  going a perfect 4-for-4 with three  runs, three  doubles,  and three  RBI. That's the most  RBI  he has posted  over his last 11  games. The team also got some help courtesy of  Adam VanMeighem, who  went 2-for-4 with three  stolen bases, three  runs,  and one  RBI.
Alleman pushed their record up to 17-7 with the  victory, which was their third straight  on the road. The  road  wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 10.7 runs over those games. As for Mercer County, they have  been struggling recently as they've  lost 11 of their last 14 matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-14 record  this season.
 Alleman will venture away from home to  square off against Sterling  at 4:30  p.m.  on Wednesday. As for Mercer County, they will welcome Monmouth-Roseville  at 4:30  p.m.  on Thursday.
