Soccer Recap: ThunderRidge Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact ThunderRidge can now relate to. They fell just short of the Broomfield Eagles by a score of 2-1 on Tuesday. ThunderRidge were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Broomfield apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in May of 2023.

ThunderRidge's goal came courtesy of Taylor Curry, who's now up to two this season.

ThunderRidge's loss dropped their record down to 5-5-4. As for Broomfield, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight games. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-4-2 record this season.

ThunderRidge does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Broomfield, they will head out to take on Rock Canyon on Friday. Rock Canyon's defense has only allowed 0.4 goals per game this season, so Broomfield's offense will have their work cut out for them.
