Baseball Recap: Pacelli Takes a Loss

Pacelli has relied on a stalwart pitchers averaging 3.7 runs allowed per game, but that average took a hit on Saturday. They came up short against the Aquinas Blugolds, falling 14-0. The match marked the first time this year in which the Cardinals were not able to get on the board.

This is the second loss in a row for Pacelli and nudges their season record down to 16-4. As for Aquinas, the win (which was their 13th in a row) raised their record to 16-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Pacelli will challenge Iola-Scandinavia at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Aquinas, they will host Holmen at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
