Soccer Recap: Cardinal Gibbons Picks Up Third Consecutive Win

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Cardinal Gibbons had no problem doing just that on Tuesday. They were the clear victor by a 3-0 margin over the Pine Crest Panthers. The Chiefs' winning goal came courtesy of Brody Boerstler.

The victory (which was Cardinal Gibbons' third in a row) raised their record to 10-6-1. As for Pine Crest, their loss dropped their record down to 13-6-1.

Cardinal Gibbons will square off against NSU University at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Cardinal Gibbons is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 2.5 goals per game this season. Pine Crest does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
