Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Cedar Cliff). Their defense stepped up to hand the Reading Red KNights an 8-0 shutout on Saturday. Winning may never get old, but Cedar Cliff sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Their offense was hitting Reading from everywhere, as seven different players booted in a goal. Sophia Morales led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by herself.

The win got Cedar Cliff back to even at 7-7-1. As for Reading, their loss dropped their record down to 0-7.

Coming up, Cedar Cliff will be playing in front of their home fans against Carlisle at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Reading, they will take on Twin Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
