Indian Valley is 8-2 against Claymont since January of 2020 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Indian Valley Braves will take on the Claymont Mustangs at 7:30 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Indian Valley has seven straight wins, Claymont has five straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the court.

Indian Valley is headed into the matchup after thoroughly thrashing Tuscarawas Valley: they outscored them in every quarter. Indian Valley strolled past Tuscarawas Valley with points to spare on Friday, taking the game 69-51. Given the Braves' advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 116th, while the Trojans are ranked 631st), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Claymont took a blow against Hiland on Friday, falling 67-35.

Indian Valley pushed their record up to 15-4 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 64.8 points over those games. As for Claymont, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-14.

Everything came up roses for Indian Valley against Claymont in their previous matchup back in January, as the squad secured a 66-25 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Indian Valley since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
