Paulding County won the last time they faced Osborne, and Jerron Wilson did his part to make sure it happened again. The Paulding County Patriots walked away with an 81-71 victory over the Osborne Cardinals on Friday thanks in part to Wilson, who shot 5-for-9 from deep and dropped a double-double with 29 points and ten rebounds. The contest was his seventh in a row with at least 15 points.

The team also got some help courtesy of George Shumpert, who almost dropped a double-double with 16 points and nine boards. That's the most points he has posted since back in November of 2024.

The win made it two in a row for Paulding County and bumps their season record up to 14-11. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 80.5 points over those games. As for Osborne, they are on a 14-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-21.

Paulding County didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 61-60 defeat against Harrison on the 10th. As for Osborne, they have also already played their next game, a 62-60 loss against Hillgrove on the 10th.
