Recap: Pensacola Christian Academy Warriors vs. Northview Chiefs
There's no place like home for the Pensacola Christian Academy Warriors, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road last Thursday. They took their game at home on Friday with ease, bagging a 48-20 victory over Northview. With Pensacola Christian Academy ahead 26-6 at the half, the game was all but over already.
It was another big night for Madeline Sellars, who dropped a double-double on 18 points and ten steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Leah Adams, who scored seven points along with 11 steals and five rebounds.
Pensacola Christian Academy pushed their record up to 8-6 with that victory, which was their fourth straight at home. As for Northview, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-8.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Pensacola Christian Academy and West Florida Baptist Academy will face off at 5:30 p.m. on January 23rd without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Florida (West Florida Baptist Academy is ranked 350th, while Pensacola Christian Academy is ranked 325th). As for Northview, they will head out on the road to square off against Laurel Hill at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
