Basketball Recap: Forest Area Comes Up Short

Forest Area was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat. They lost 58-38 to the Johannesburg-Lewiston Cardinals. The Warriors were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Cardinals earlier this season, when they won 54-34.

Forest Area's loss dropped their record down to 3-16. As for Johannesburg-Lewiston, their win ended a ten-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-18.

Looking ahead, Forest Area and St. Mary Cathedral will face off at 7:15 p.m. on Wednesday without much rest, having both just played. St. Mary Cathedral will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Forest Area surely won't give up without a fight. As for Johannesburg-Lewiston, they will head out to face off against Inland Lakes at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
