Preview: Frankfort Panthers vs. Menominee Maroons
The Frankfort Panthers will face off against the Menominee Maroons at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Frankfort has three straight victories, Menominee has five straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.
Frankfort can now show off five landslide victories after their most recent game on Thursday. They breezed by Suttons Bay at home to the tune of 56-12. That 44 points margin sets a new team best for Frankfort this season.
Meanwhile, Menominee came up short against Escanaba on Monday and fell 46-38.
Frankfort is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 6-3 record this season. As for Menominee, they bumped their record down to 3-7 with that defeat, which was their third straight at home.
