Basketball Recap: Dora's Loss Ends Four-Game Winning Streak at Home

Dora lost against Clayton back in January of 2022 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Coyotes lost 64-40 to the Yellowjackets. The Coyotes were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 35-15.

Dora's defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Rylan Harris, who posted 12 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jayvyn Buckley, who scored 11 points.

Dora's loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 1-2. As for Clayton, the victory got them back to even at 3-3.

Looking ahead, Dora will hit the road for the first time this season to challenge Clovis Christian at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Clayton, they will be taking part in a tournament against Des Moines at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
