Basketball Recap: Tikigaq Piles Up the Points Against Deering

Tikigaq had to skate by with only a two-point margin when they last took the court, which might have inspired the 31-point drubbing they dealt Deering on Saturday. The Tikigaq Harpooners took their matchup with ease, bagging an 85-54 win over the Deering Northern Lights. The game marked the Harpooners' most dominant victory of the season.

The win was the fourth in a row for Tikigaq, bringing their record for this year to 5-9. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 77.3 points over those games. As for Deering, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-6.

As of now, neither Tikigaq nor Deering have any future games scheduled.
