Four Rivers recap October 22, 2013

Hermann led Four Rivers in scoring this week by notching 48 points on Pacific.

Union's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Blake Hulsey threw for 308 and 5 touchdowns and Logan Bellamy had 97 yards receiving. On the ground John Prosser contributed 61 yards. Jacob Carmen helped Union's passing attack out by catching 4 balls for 73 yards.

He went 25-33 with 1 interception.

Casey Peth made the biggest impact on defense this week as the Wildcats defeated St. James. He grabbed 1 interception and forced 1 fumble.

Prosser was the most successful running back in the league this week. In 9 carries, he ran for 61 yards as Union bested the Tigers. Hulsey also contributed to the rushing game with 34 yards on the ground.

Union's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Wildcats feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Hulsey has thrown for 2,747 yards and 27 touchdowns this season, while Bellamy has 54 catches for 902 yards. Hulsey also leads the league in rushing with 553 yards.

Bellamy of the Erick Webster's team's is a few catches away from breaking 1,000 yards for the season. He needs only 98 receiving yards in this week's game against the Bearcats to get there. So far this year, he has garnered 54 catches for 902 yards.

At the moment, the Wildcats are in first, while Hermann is in third.

The Bearcats made the biggest leap in the national rankings this week, rising to 8,360 from 8,691. The advance stemmed from a 48-8 victory over the Indians last week.
