Volleyball Recap: Sci-Tech Takes a Loss

Sci-Tech was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Southwick Regional Rams. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Rams this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 19-25, 25-15, 25-19.

Sci-Tech's loss dropped their record down to 2-11. As for Southwick Regional, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 6-8.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Sci-Tech will face off against rival Ware at 5:15 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Southwick Regional is set to take on their familiar foe Pope Francis Prep at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
