Baseball Recap: Bishop LeBlond Takes a Loss

After soaring to 11 runs the game before, Bishop LeBlond was a bit more limited in their contest on Tuesday. They lost 14-1 to the Maryville Spoofhounds. Eagles fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team's lost against the Spoofhounds since on Tuesday.

Bishop LeBlond saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Gannon Sowell, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one stolen base and one run.

Bishop LeBlond now has a losing record of 13-14. As for Maryville, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 13-18.

Coming up, Bishop LeBlond will face off against South Holt at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Maryville, they will take on Savannah at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
