Soccer Recap: Estero Has No Trouble Against Gateway

After failing to score in their last contest, Estero made sure to put some goals up on the board against Gateway on Thursday. They were the clear victor by an 8-0 margin over the Gateway Eagles. It was an even better day for Kaitlyn Mancini as she scored three goals for her team.

Estero's win bumped their record up to 8-3-1. As for Gateway, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-8-2 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Estero will face off against Cape Coral at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Estero is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 4.1 goals per game this season. As for Gateway, they will challenge Lehigh at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Gateway is facing Lehigh at the right time seeing as Lehigh is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
