Volleyball Recap: Medfield Comes Up Short

The Medfield Warriors came up short against the Longmeadow Lancers on Monday and fell 3-1.

While Medfield ultimately came up short, they didn't go down without a fight: they scored at least 20 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-21, 25-23, 24-26, 25-20.

Longmeadow got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Chris Bousquet out in front who had 37 digs and three assists. That's the most digs Bousquet has posted over his last six matches.

Medfield has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 11-8 record this season. As for Longmeadow, the win was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 17-6.

As of now, neither Medfield nor the Lancers have any future games scheduled.
