Elverado entered their tilt with Christ Our Rock Lutheran on Wednesday with five consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with six. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Silver Stallions. This was payback for the Falcons, who suffered a 2-1 loss the last time these two teams met.

The match was a true back-and-forth as no team won consecutive sets, but in the end it was Elverado who won the one that mattered. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 21-25, 25-18.

Essence Haynes paced Elverado's offense, picking up 13 kills. Haynes got some help from Maci Caraway and her ten assists. Finally, Haynes was also a dominant defender, finishing with a team-high five blocks.
