Soccer Game Preview: Cosby vs. Richmond High School for the Arts

The Cosby Titans will square off against the Richmond High School for the Arts Bulldogs at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with four consecutive losses for Cosby and five for Richmond High School for the Arts.

On Monday, Cosby didn't have quite enough to beat Atlee and fell 2-1. While losing is never fun, Cosby can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Virginia soccer rankings (they are ranked 120th, while Atlee are ranked 23rd).

Meanwhile, Richmond High School for the Arts fell victim to Monacan and their airtight defense on Thursday. They came up short against the Chiefs, falling 9-0.

Cosby's defeat dropped their record down to 5-7-1. As for Richmond High School for the Arts, their loss dropped their record down to 1-6.

Cosby took their victory against Richmond High School for the Arts in their previous matchup back in May of 2024 by a conclusive 9-0 score. Will the Titans repeat their success, or do the Bulldogs have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
