Softball Recap: Lamar Takes a Loss

Lamar fell victim to South Grand Prairie and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They lost 19-0 to the South Grand Prairie Warriors. The Vikings' loss continues a trend for the team, making it four in a row.

Lamar's defeat dropped their record down to 5-9. As for South Grand Prairie, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-8-1 record this season.

Lamar will take on Sam Houston at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for South Grand Prairie, they will face off against Grand Prairie at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
