Soccer Recap: Yorkville Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Yorkville lost against Plainfield Central back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Foxes fell 3-1 to the Wildcats. The match was a 1-1 toss-up at halftime, but Yorkville couldn't quite close it out.

Their goal came courtesy of Kai Jamison, who's now up to three this season.

Yorkville dropped their record down to 5-7-1 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for Plainfield Central, the victory was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 11-3.

Yorkville has already played their next contest, a 4-0 win against Plainfield South on the 30th. As for Plainfield Central, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against West Aurora on the 27th.
