Lake Hamilton's hitters rose to the challenge against an Eagles pitching crew that boasted an average of only 2.5 runs allowed on Friday. Lake Hamilton put the hurt on the Cutter-Morning Star Eagles with a sharp 11-1 victory. Considering the Wolves have won five matches by more than nine runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

The team relied heavily on Mikaela Miller, who went 2-for-4 with one home run, two runs, and one stolen base. That home run marked the first that she launched this season.

Miller wasn't the only one working in the home run department: Lake Hamilton lost a few balls and finished the game with two home runs. That's the most home runs they've managed all season.

The win made it two in a row for Lake Hamilton and bumps their season record up to 5-3. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 15.0 runs over those games. As for Cutter-Morning Star, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 5-1.
