Basketball Recap: Baylor Victorious

Baylor won the last time they faced Girls Preparatory School and things went their way on Thursday too. The Red Raiders snuck past the Bruisers with a 50-46 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Red Raiders.

Schoti Marchand had an outrageously good game as she went 7-for-16 on her way to 18 points. Those 18 points gave her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Xahara Willis, who posted nine points along with seven rebounds and three steals.

Baylor's record now sits at 15-7. As for Girls Preparatory School, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 10-12.

Coming up, Baylor will head out on the road to square off against Webb at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Red Raiders will need to watch out since the Spartans have now posted at least 55 points in their last three matchups. As for Girls Preparatory School, they will square off against Knoxville Catholic at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
