Softball Recap: Newman Central Catholic Takes a Loss

The Newman Central Catholic Comets didn't have quite enough to beat the Warren/Stockton Warhawks on Thursday and fell 25-24.

Newman Central Catholic's defeat dropped their record down to 9-16. As for Warren/Stockton, their win bumped their record up to 14-11.

Looking ahead, Newman Central Catholic will face off against Marquette at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. The Comets' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Crusaders have averaged an impressive 10.6 runs per game this season. Warren/Stockton does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
