Baseball Recap: Tuesday's Victory Is New Hanover's Sixth in Last Eight Outings

The New Hanover Wildcats narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past the Corinth Holders Pirates 5-3.

New Hanover is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-6 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.9 runs on average over those games. As for Corinth Holders, they moved to 16-3 with that loss, which also ended their ten-game winning streak.
