Rock Hill is a perfect 10-0 against Chesapeake since May of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Redmen will head out to challenge the Panthers at 5:30 p.m. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with three consecutive losses for Rock Hill and 12 for Chesapeake.

Wednesday just wasn't the day for Rock Hill's offense. They came up short against Ironton on Wednesday, falling 7-0.

Chesapeake couldn't beat Fairland on Thursday even though they stacked five runs on them in the first inning. The Panthers took a 12-9 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Dragons.

Jaeden Anderson stepped up to lead a balanced group of hitters: she went 2-for-4 with three RBI, one stolen base, and one run. Another player making a difference was Sophie Wagner, who went 2-for-4 with two doubles, one stolen base, and two RBI.

Rock Hill's defeat dropped their record down to 6-14. As for Chesapeake, their loss dropped their record down to 7-17.

Rock Hill got the 'W' in their previous meeting back in April against Chesapeake by a conclusive 17-4 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Redmen since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
