Football Game Preview: T.W. Andrews Red Raiders vs. West Craven Eagles

The T.W. Andrews Red Raiders are taking a road trip to take on the West Craven Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both teams are coming into the contest red-hot, with T.W. Andrews sitting on three straight wins and West Craven on eight.

T.W. Andrews is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They enjoyed a cozy 36-17 victory over Clinton. The Red Raiders pushed the score to 36-10 by the end of the third, a deficit the Dark Horses cut but never quite recovered from.

Meanwhile, West Craven was fully in charge on Friday, breezing past Roanoke Rapids 41-6. The result was nothing new for the Eagles, who have now won seven matchups by 23 points or more so far this season.

T.W. Andrews better keep an eye on DJ Davis. He was instrumental in West Craven's win, throwing for 262 yards and five touchdowns while completing 76.9% of his passes, and also rushing for 64 yards on only nine carries. That's the most passing yards Davis has posted since back in November of 2024. West Craven's leading receiver Jeremiah Leigh was Davis' top target yet again, picking up 122 receiving yards and a pair of TDs.

T.W. Andrews' win bumped their record up to 9-2. As for West Craven, their victory bumped their record up to 10-1.
