Basketball Game Preview: Bulls College Prep Bulls vs. Springfield Southeast Spartans

The Bulls College Prep Bulls and the Springfield Southeast Spartans will face off at 10:30 a.m. on Friday without much rest having both just played. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with six consecutive losses for Bulls College Prep and eight for Springfield Southeast.

Bulls College Prep's tournament run continued when they took on DeKalb on Thursday. Bulls College Prep was beaten by DeKalb 74-27. While losing is never fun, the Bulls can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Illinois basketball rankings (they are ranked 575th, while the Barbs are ranked 176th).

Meanwhile, Springfield Southeast was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Thursday as they fell 50-45 to Belvidere North.

Bulls College Prep's defeat dropped their record down to 3-12. As for Springfield Southeast, their loss dropped their record down to 0-8.
