It's playoff time, and Carolina Forest had no trouble coming through when it counted. They put the hurt on the Stall Warriors with a sharp  23-0 win on Tuesday. The result was nothing new for the Panthers, who have now won 11 contests by nine  runs or more  so far this season.
 Gavin Speedling looked comfortable as he  pitched two innings while giving up   no  earned runs off   one  hit. The dominant performance also gave  him a new career-high in  strikeouts (three).
 At the plate,  Brice Urso was a standout: he went a perfect 4-for-4 with four  runs and two  RBI. Those  four  runs gave  him a new career-high.  Jalen Collins was another key player,  getting on base  in all four of his plate appearances with three  runs and two  RBI.
 Carolina Forest  kept the outfield on their toes and  finished the game with 15  hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  got at least nine  hits in four consecutive  matchups.
Carolina Forest is  on a roll lately: they've  won five of their last six games. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-8 record  this season. The  victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.3 runs on average over those games. As for Stall,  they are  on  a  four-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 3-18.
