Soccer Recap: Cross Creek Comes Up Short

Cross Creek lost against Academy of Richmond County back in March of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Cross Creek Razorbacks came up short against the Academy of Richmond County Musketeers, falling 11-1. Things were pretty much settled by the half as the Razorbacks were already down 7-1.

This is the second loss in a row for Cross Creek and nudges their season record down to 0-2. As for Academy of Richmond County, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to a perfect 2-0.

Cross Creek will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Aquinas at 5:30 p.m. on February 25th. As for Academy of Richmond County, they will be defending their home pitch for the first time this season when they go up against Harlem at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
