There's no place like home for Lincoln Southwest, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Thursday. They strolled past the Omaha Central Eagles with points to spare on Friday, taking the game 73-58. For the Silver Hawks, this counts as revenge for the 57-51 victory the Eagles walked away with the last time they faced one another back in January of 2022.

It was another big night for Uzziah Sanders, who to rack up 22 points and eight boards. Hudson Mezger also deserves some recognition as he posted his first block of the season.

Despite the loss, Omaha Central still got an impressive performance from Evan Rodgers, who en route to 17 points. Braylon Owens was another key player, putting up nine points and eight rebounds.

Lincoln Southwest's record is now 13-9. As for Omaha Central, their loss dropped their record down to 10-13.

Lincoln Southwest does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Omaha Central, they will take on Papillion-LaVista at 5:15 p.m. on March 1st. Papillion-LaVista knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past 13 matchups -- so hopefully Omaha Central likes a good challenge.
