Basketball Game Preview: Mesabi East Giants vs. Nashwauk-Keewatin Spartans

The Mesabi East Giants will head out to take on the Nashwauk-Keewatin Spartans at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Mesabi East is coming into the contest on a four-game losing streak.

Last Friday, Mesabi East came up short against Chisholm and fell 62-50.

Meanwhile, Nashwauk-Keewatin ended up a good deal behind Ely on Friday and lost 76-61.

Mesabi East's loss dropped their record down to 2-9. As for Nashwauk-Keewatin, their defeat was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 4-5.

Mesabi East strolled past Nashwauk-Keewatin in their previous meeting back in January of 2024 by a score of 84-66. The rematch might be a little tougher for Mesabi East since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
