Basketball Recap: Moses Lake Comes Up Short

Moses Lake played a tough match on Saturday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They lost 58-38 to the Eisenhower Cadets. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Mavericks this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 47-38 back in December of 2024.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Eisenhower to victory, but perhaps none more so than Mercedez Garza, who went 7 of 15 en route to 14 points in addition to seven boards and three steals. Another player making a difference was Ariana Ramos, who posted ten points.

This is the second loss in a row for Moses Lake and nudges their season record down to 7-11. As for Eisenhower, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 10-6 record this season.

Moses Lake has already played their next contest (against Eastmont), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Eisenhower will be playing at home against Wenatchee at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Eisenhower is facing Wenatchee at the right time seeing as Wenatchee is stuck on a 15-game losing streak.
