Basketball Game Preview: Bradenton Christian Panthers vs. Canterbury Cougars

Bradenton Christian hasn't had much luck against Canterbury recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. A feisty cat fight will be fought when the Bradenton Christian Panthers take on the Canterbury Cougars at 5:30 p.m. One thing working in Bradenton Christian's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last six matchups.

Last Tuesday, everything came up roses for Bradenton Christian against Saint Stephen's Episcopal as the squad secured a 68-41 win. The Panthers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five contests by 21 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Canterbury). They blew past Bonita Springs 88-54 on Tuesday. The team's explosion on offense also rewarded the Cougars with their most commanding win of the season.

Bradenton Christian pushed their record up to 10-5 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 64.3 points per game. As for Canterbury, their win ended a four-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 4-11.
