Football Recap: Eastside Ghosts vs. Morristown Colonials

Eastside kicked off their season on the road on Friday and hit a couple of potholes. They were beaten by the Morristown Colonials 36-7. The Ghosts were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Colonials apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in November of 2017.

Morristown found their leader in underclassman Weston Elms, who threw for 197 yards and three touchdowns while completing 75% of his passes. Jeremiah Moreau did his part to keep the secondary busy, picking up 110 receiving yards.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Eastside will challenge Clifton on Friday. As for Morristown, they are headed away from home for the first time to challenge Randolph at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
