Baseball Game Preview: Mohave Thunderbirds vs. Mingus Marauders

Mohave hasn't had much luck against Mingus recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Thunderbirds will head out on the road to challenge the Marauders at 3:45 p.m. Neither of those teams managed to put together many runs in their previous contests, so the offenses might be a little more motivated than usual.

Mohave came up short against Bradshaw Mountain on Saturday, falling 17-2.

Mohave saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was David Zendejas, who went 1-for-2 with one RBI.

Meanwhile, Mingus lost 18-2 to Flagstaff on Wednesday. The Marauders haven't had much luck with the Eagles recently, as the team has come up short the last eight times they've met.

Mohave's loss dropped their record down to 0-16. As for Mingus, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-9.

Mohave might still be hurting after the 13-3 loss they got from Mingus in their previous matchup back in April of 2025. Can the Thunderbirds avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
