Baseball Preview: Wyomissing Spartans vs. Schuylkill Haven Hurricanes
Wyomissing hasn't had much luck against Schuylkill Haven recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Wyomissing Spartans are headed away from home for the first time to square off against the Schuylkill Haven Hurricanes at 4:30 p.m. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Wyomissing is headed out to face Schuylkill Haven after opening their season at home and giving their fans just what they were looking for. Wyomissing skirted past North Schuylkill 6-5.
Ryan Graham was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, keeping things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out six over 4.1 innings pitched. Furthermore, he didn't allow a single hit, the first time he has blanked an opponent since back in March of 2024. He was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run while going 3-for-4.
