Basketball Recap: Pine Eagle Comes Up Short

Pine Eagle was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their tenth straight loss. They took a 53-38 bruising from the Powder Valley Badgers. That's two games in a row now that the Spartans have lost by exactly 15 points.

Pine Eagle's defeat dropped their record down to 3-20. As for Powder Valley, their win bumped their record up to 10-14.

While Pine Eagle had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 8:30 p.m. on Thursday.
