Basketball Game Preview: Muhlenberg County Mustangs vs. Evansville Harrison Warriors

Muhlenberg County is on a four-game streak of home losses, Evansville Harrison a six-game streak of away losses dating back to last season, but someone's luck will change on Friday. The Muhlenberg County Mustangs will host the Evansville Harrison Warriors at 6:00 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Last Tuesday, Muhlenberg County was just a bucket shy of victory and fell 34-33 to McLean County. While the Mustangs didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Cougars 6-2 in the first quarter.

Muhlenberg County might have lost, but man, Izzy Wilkins was a machine: she dropped a double-double on 17 points and 11 rebounds. Wilkins has been hot recently, having posted eight or more boards the last four times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Taylor Wilkins, who posted ten points and seven rebounds.

Meanwhile, Evansville Harrison lost 77-56 to Evansville Mater Dei last Wednesday.

Evansville Harrison's loss dropped their record down to 2-14. As for Muhlenberg County, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-12.
