Meanwhile, South Pittsburg entered their tilt with Lookout Valley with four consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with five. They never let the Yellowjackets onto the board and left with a 10-0 win on Thursday. South Pittsburg might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team's won five matches by eight runs or more this season.
Kaylee Kilgore made a big impact no matter where she played. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run and only two hits while striking out eight over four innings pitched. Kilgore has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in 12 consecutive pitching appearances. Kilgore was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with three RBI and two doubles.
In other batting news, Khloe Mount was excellent, going 2-for-2 with two runs and a triple. Another player making a difference was Macy Mashburn, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI and a double.
