The Kofa Kings will square off against the Somerton Toros at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.
On Wednesday, Kofa came up short against Tolleson and fell 3-1.
Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 20-25, 25-20, 25-19.

Kofa might have lost, but man, Isabel Desautelle was a machine: she had 13 digs and three aces. Desautelle is also on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 13 or more in each of the last four games she's played.
Meanwhile, Somerton also suffered a loss in their last game, falling to Highland Prep by a score of 3-1.
Somerton was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Highland Prep work for it, especially in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 26-24, 25-12, 24-26, 25-21.
Somerton now has a losing record of 7-8. As for Kofa, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last seven matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-8 record this season.
Kofa beat Somerton 3-1 in their previous matchup on Tuesday. Will the Kings repeat their success, or do the Toros have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
