Volleyball Recap: Madie Robinette's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Calvary Christian Academy over Grace Academy + How To Watch

Calvary Christian Academy had lost three straight at home, but on Monday they dropped down to 3-8-1 to make it four. They lost 3-0 to the Grace Academy Knights. The home team had taken home the W every time these teams have met since September 10, 2024, but that streak is no more.

Several Calvary Christian Academy players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Madie Robinette, who had 12 digs and five kills. Robinette is on a roll when it comes to kills, as she's now had five or more in each of the last six games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Addy Burkett, who had 12 digs.

As for Grace Academy, the win keeps them at an undefeated 9-0. The home team had taken home the W every time these teams have met since September 10, 2024, but that streak is no more.

Grace Academy was led to victory by Ava Hill and Anjali Vemuri. Hill had 15 assists and four aces, while Vemuri had nine digs. That's the most assists Hill has posted over her last six contests. Ahalya Vemuri also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assist of the season.

Calvary Christian Academy didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 victory against Cumberland Valley Christian on the 16th. As for Grace Academy, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 3-0 win against GVCS Broadfording on the 16th.
