Softball Recap: Westerville North Warriors vs. Licking Heights Hornets

Westerville North extended their losing streak to three on Friday, dropping their season record down to 8-14 in the process. They took a 6-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Licking Heights Hornets. The Warriors were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Hornets apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in May of 2023.

Westerville North saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Emma Polovick, who went 1-for-3 with one double.

Westerville North and Licking Heights are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. The Warriors will face off against Logan at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Licking Heights, they will square off against Worthington Kilbourne at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
