It was a good run, but Bassett unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Friday. They took a 48-29 bruising from the George Washington Eagles. The Bengals were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Eagles earlier this season, when they won 46-41.

Bassett's defeat dropped their record down to 7-7. As for George Washington, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-7.

Bassett will square off against Magna Vista at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday down 154 places (251 vs. 97). Meanwhile, George Washington (ranked 234th) will meet Charlottesville (ranked 44th) at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
