Soccer Recap: New Waverly Extends Winning Streak to Three

After failing to score in their last matchup, New Waverly made sure to put some goals up on the board against Harmony School of Innovation on Friday. They were the clear victor by a 6-0 margin over the Harmony School of Innovation Mustangs. Considering the Bulldogs' offense had been struggling lately, the high-scoring outing was a much-needed turnaround.

Maryn Cook and Clara Weinland scored all six of New Waverly's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 24 goals.

The victory (which was New Waverly's third in a row) raised their record to 12-7-1. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those three contests. As for Harmony School of Innovation, they dropped their record down to 0-11 with the defeat, which was their sixth straight on the road.

As of now, neither New Waverly nor Harmony School of Innovation have any future games scheduled.
