Mt. Zion and Bowdon are an even 5-5 against one another since December of 2021, but not for long. The Eagles will square off against the Red Devils at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. Mt. Zion has a tough task ahead: they'll enter the contest with six straight losses, while Bowdon will come in with six straight victories.

Meanwhile, Bowdon posted their closest win since December 13, 2025 on Friday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 53-50 victory over Manchester.

Mt. Zion's defeat dropped their record down to 2-17. As for Bowdon, their win bumped their record up to 16-7.

Mt. Zion suffered a grim 61-38 defeat to Bowdon in their previous meeting back in January. Can the Eagles avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
